page 1210 – What Characters Haven’t Shared A Page Yet?
DANG IT. I almost had this page done this morning. It was all drawn and scanned and I was in the middle of coloring it… and I just crashed. I’d been up all night and I just hit a wall. It wasn’t happening. Sleep was going to be got whether I liked it or not. Well, at least the page is still TECHNICALLY going up on Monday either way.
Anyway, as long as I’m freely confessing things, I need to admit that I had to go back and check previous pages to make sure that Bridget and The Short Pants Squad actually HAD been in the same room as each other before this point. The have, but there was more memorable stuff going on at the time so they never directly interacted. Still, I have forgotten this kind of stuff before, so it didn’t hurt to double check.
Also, weird glowy things. Yes please.

To make matters worse, at least until one considers the basic principles of Mad Science, the shape of the container suggests that the puppy-worm might be intended to be delivered as a giant suppository. Not that it’s too likely that Tabitha would need it for that.

Actually, it occurs to me now that, given Stilez’s apparent affection for puppies, you might not want her to see that abomination.
Or…maybe that’s the whole experiment planned here – “Bridget, go grab the tapuppyworm out of the ship, I want to see if Stilez’s attachment is just for Tax, or if she demonstrates a similar affection for even the most horrifying puppiod life forms.”
Due to to supply chain disruptions, brain bleach is in short supply and customers are limited to one per purchase. In fairness, it was the tapeworm comparison that got me thinking in those directions.
The funny thing is, the explanation I’d actually made up for this is simultaneously a thousand times more outlandish and surreal than any of this speculation, but it’s also a million times less interesting.
Is that an explanation we’ll get to see, or just internal background you had thought up in case you needed it later? Because now i really want to know! Or maybe I don’t…If it’s 1000x more surreal than this stuff it might melt my brain…
More like a random line of dialog happening behind the “real” joke of a page, just there to make everybody go “wait WHAT?”

Oh, it’s not that I’m in any way ahead, I just post the new incentive to the gallery on Thursday and set the page not to go live for many weeks. However, even if the page isn’t public, I can still link TWC to the image file and have it display there right away. Basically, it’s the same setup I had going with the SmackJeeves gallery.
