Happy Giant Translucent Doom Hamster Day! (2021 edition)
Yay! Some of those new Nitpickers are finally starting to appear in other comics! Granted, it’s still another holiday comic, but hey, Marshall & May only got that for years and years, and look where they are now! Anyway, I keep saying I want to use these extra holiday pages to actually do some world building and make up more future stuff, as opposed to just a glorified greetings card, but Independence Day seems to be the only one where I’m consistently doing it. But just you wait, I’m sure that one day, I’ll come up with a future space Arbor Day idea that’ll knock your socks off!
On the lame side of things, I’m afraid there’s absolutely NO way I’ll be getting page 1183 done by Monday morning. I kinda sorta fell down a rabbit hole of trying to finally re-post some of the old TWC Voting Incentives to the Gallery… and somehow managed to start with the wrong year. Whatever, the point is, that took a lot longer than I expected, which was a VERY bad thing with this extra comic in the pipeline as well. So check back here Wednesday, and I should have everything finished and online by then. Sorry for the delay!
Oh, and just in case you’re wondering, here’s the other guy they’re referring too… so you can see why fireworks would have reason to fear being upstaged by the guy.

Did he drown out the sound of the fireworks with cannons firing more fireworks, or did he just yell loud enough to drown out all sound that wasn’t his voice in a 50 meter radius trying to be heard over them? Because, with Von Cannon, I can see both happening.
Also, I still want you to design the creepy kids from Mothership Charlie, especially the spooky girls with extra eyes in their hair, that you mentioned on page 857. And I will remind you of them whenever I remember when it’s just slightly appropriate to the comic page in question. If it isn’t appropriate to the comic page in question, I’ll remember them and not mention them.
