page 1404 – A Very Reasonable Plan
Okay, assuming everything’s working properly, this SHOULD be going live on Tuesday the 1oth. I really dunno, I’m queuing all this up way back on the 3rd, the first ina. scramble of SEVERAL things I need to get done before the convention trip that prevented this page from going up last Friday. And since I’m writing this so far in advance, I really SHOULDN’T be teasing anything about things that will still be in the future by the time you read this. BUT STILL, if everything goes according to plan, there WILL be another update this coming Friday… but it WON’T be page 1405. Just wait and see!
In the meantime, here’s a homework assignment: can YOU find the previous times Tabitha has made this very ludicrous statement? Yep, this is another “running gag” that nobody even realized was one! Happy hunting!

In my continuing attempt to poke holes in the fabric of reality: How does the Exposition not have a dozen stort range shuttlecraft or something similar in the landing bay? It would be like running a modern passenger liner with zero lifeboats. In addition to nobody being able to evacuate in case of ship explosion, they couldn’t even transfer cargo/passengers to other ships without docking at a larger station. Or he does have them but none of them work either?
I’m sure the practical excuse would be that the Exposition has emergency escape pods, but they’re designed to be one-time-use and not really suited for hopping over to another ship and then coming right back… but the FUNNY explanation would be that Tabitha’s ship is parked in front of the Exposition’s shuttles, and they can’t be used without moving it (which can’t be done while its engine systems are dissembled)
Tabitha… you have MARSHALL on board, and you plan on mutilating food within his presence. I cannot think of a more disrespectful thing you could possibly do, to the point where he might actually stop waiting on Layla’s culinary desires out of irritation that she’s friends with you.
She’s probably using the vending machine lunch, or some other similar preserved convenient product, Marshall considers that food to already be mutilated, if he even considers it food at all.
Oh, he’s definitely gonna be a factor in the coming pages, don’t ya’ll worry about THAT 😀
