page 1429 – Very Calm Expression
Just in case anybody missed it, there was an extra Mother’s Day comic that went up over the weekend, so make sure you go ingest your extra portion of Far Out There content!
Other than that, well, this is one of those pages where it’s sufficiently in the middle of things that I really should just wait until later to say anything extra. The kind of momment where it feels REALLY good to be back on a two-page-a-week schedule again!
Cooking the ship is a bad idea. It’s made of food, after all. It will fall apart if cooked.
If Tabitha can make it withstand total vacuum / internal air pressure, radiation, launch and acceleration/deceleration, be self-propelled and have a guidance system, and not shatter in the frigid void of space, she can probably make it so it doesn’t get soft when heated. Or maybe not, Mad Scientists aren’t all that practical.
Marshall, get a grip! This is LITERALLY the thing you’re currently apprenticed to do for the rest of your life – telling people they’re doing it wrong!
