Okay, first of all, there was an extra Mother’s Day page yesterday!  And I totally forgot to alert anybody about it ahead of time, so unless you just randomly checked the site on Sunday, you’d have never known it was coming!  I’ve been at this for fourteen years, and I still don’t know how to do it correctly!

Speaking of which, let me walk you all through a thought process that occurred this weekend.  I finally got sick of the crummy hand-drawn doodles that have served as Tabitha’s “chemistry deathmatch” shirt for months now, and decided to whip up a nice clean master image I could just copy/paste in whenever I needed.  After making that image, I realized I could totally slap that on an actual T-shirt design as long as I was at it.  And it was then, ONLY then, that it finally hit me that I’d never set up a Store page on the new site.  Like, all the individual pages for ordering stuff still exist, but there hadn’t been any links to actually direct readers to them since SmackJeeves went down.  In my defense, I DID go back and add a store to Conventional Wisdom’s site, so I guess my memory of how much I did got blurry.  VERY professional.  But yeah, the store finally exists again, and now you can buy some cheap crap with a picture of a flask with big arms!

Oh, and as long as I’m chuckin’ links around at random, those directions in the first panel are actually a callback.  Continuity!

Finally, I dunno if this even really requires a heads up or what, but I’m gonna be spending the next couple of weeks trying to get a bit of a page buffer built up again.  Yeah, I know, I know, but I’ve got another convention coming up at the end of this month, and only just last week got the last of my Conventional Wisdom stuff from the LAST one done.  I really need to speed that process up, and I’m hoping that having at least a few weeks where Far Out There’s already taken care of will allow me to focus on getting the journal comics done in a timely fashion.  I guess what I’m saying is, sorry in advance for when I inevitably forget to post a new TWC Voting Incentive on time ‘cos I lost track of what day it is!

EDIT: Okay, so immediately after I finished writing that bit about forgetting the Voting Incentive, I dove straight into doing the Voting Incentive straight away.  And it wound up taking a full day longer than I anticipated.  And it was TOTALLY worth it.
