Happy 18th
HOW AM I OLD ENOUGH FOR MY CREATION TO ALSO BE THIS OLD?
Anyway WOW this comic has been chugging along for a while now, huh? Thanks for putting up with my indulgent silliness for all these years! And speaking of indulgent, yeah, this is taking the update spot away from a REAL comic page. Sorry about that. However, there IS going to be a bonus extra update going up tomorrow, because apparently there’s this OTHER holiday that other, normal people celebrate that ISN’T related to the anniversary of a webcomic’s debut. So check back here again on Saturday for that!
OH! And assuming I’ve done everything correctly between when this is being queued up and when it goes live, those SHOULD also be a fresh TWC Voting Incentive ready! I mean, it’s actually already finished as I write this, I just haven’t loaded it online yet. And as long as a thing isn’t actually done yet, there’s still the possibility that I could forget to do it. NOTHING is impossible.

And, in additional irony, he’s giving it to the character whose age is the most vague and known of them all.
Happy 18th, FOT!
Hovertext: You made the right choice. Avatar is always the right choice.
Also, she really is the most qualified person in the entire universe to be a Nitpicker. I’m surprised Sophia hasn’t tried repeatedly to recruit her.
LOL that should totally be a running gag of some sort
Give her a nitpicker length rant about how ridiculous the idea of her being a nitpicker is
Which would only serve to emphasize her high qualification for the job, since nitpicking the job offer of nitpicker is exactly something a natural born nitpicker would do!
Just don’t say that it happens every time they meet, as it didn’t happen on-screen the first time Sophia was introduced, and thus we readers can outright state that it doesn’t happen every time.
…making it so that Sophia makes the offer every six months would be fine, though.
*cut to a scene of Sophia debating whether or not the time is right to make another recruitment offer to Avatar while Claire sighs and tells her to just let it go*
That can all be fixed through the Omnipotent Power of Retcon. Just ask Pattie.
It wouldn’t even need that, honestly. Avatar could have a line like “Dang it, I thought you’d finally stopped asking about this!” to cover the previous time.
