Far Out There

Hey look! It’s Stilez and Tax! Gosh, when was the last time THEY popped up… even I don’t remember what page that was. That’s the holidays for ya, visiting loved ones you haven’t seen in forever!

So, while I like the basic idea, I’m not too thrilled with the coloring on this page. For one thing, I just need to quit trying to draw fire, plain and simple. More importantly, though, I don’t like how the light and shadows on the characters turned out. Normally, I’d have just done the whole page in one color, but I’ve already done that TWICE in a week’s time. Besides, since we haven’t seen these two in a while, the situation seemed to call for a full color treatment. But, as you can see, I haven’t quite learned how to do dramatic, colored lighting effects on already cowered in characters. Plus, I had two other pages to worry about at the time, so I couldn’t do any of it over. Drat.

(Historical Notes: No, Past Me.  This page totally needed to be all one color.  Just swap the order around a bit if having too many next to each other bothers you.  Also, THIS should be the all red page.  Have Skye’s page be, I dunno, purple or something.)
