This is unironically one of the top things I want to see the Far Out There name slapped onto. I couldn’t care less about a Far Out There AAA open-world cinematic adventure or something like that. Give me a cheap throwaway generic kart racer, THAT’S the sign that a franchise as truly made it! Also, I haven’t the slightest idea what would happen if you threw a Xal-Gox at another kart.
BUT GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!? At long last, the TWC Voting Incentives are back! I’m still only doing one a week, but they’re back every Thursday, and they’re actually another ongoing series, too! …well, the covers to a “series” anyway. Go vote and see what I mean!
The cart would become edible , but horrifying, and other racers could eat it for a power up.
…meaning you’d have to be careful when you used it on another racer, for fear that it might actually help some of the OTHER other racers. Diabolical!
surely there’s got to be some software on the internet somewhere where someone has written a super generic kart racer that people can just slap their own graphics onto? i mean, it’s the internet, right? it’s supposed to have everything!
I mean if all else fails, SRB2Kart exists, and would probably be pretty easy to adapt for that.
Though I guess that’d be more of a mod (to a mod (to a Sonic fangame (that’s technically also a mod))) than a game of its own, but.
I’m a little afraid to spend too much time looking into this sort of thing, for fear that I might actually find something and get WAY too into it.
