page 1416 – Very Focused Plot
And now, I propose a game to any future readers going back through this comic further down the line and who get to dive straight into a bunch of later pages I haven’t drawn yet: See how long it takes for the details on Tabitha’s new pants to start randomly changing. I TRIED to sand of any extraneous details that I’d struggle to remember, lest this turn into the situation with all the bits and bobs on Stilez’s old plugsuit… or, heck, just the stripes on Stilez in general. So there’s a very good chance that those zippers will start mysteriously shifting and changing without me meaning them to. All that said, this is sort of take two on this previous Tabitha design. I always liked the idea of contrasting Tabitha’s skinny frame against a pair of big, baggy pants, but that earlier attempt wound up being too tricky do draw regularly. Let’s see if this one works out better.
Also, just in case you missed me moaning about it earlier, there’s no new TWC Voting Incentive today, because LAST week’s Incentive was so late that it flipped over into being THIS week’s Incentive coming out early. So there’ll be a fresh one next Friday.

Considering she’s a mad scientist, wearing pants with randomly-changing details would actually be in character for her. Maybe they’re made of quantum shapeshifting fabric or something (that she invented earlier and then forgot about).
Heh, maybe they started out as skinny jeans until she spilled that mater expansion formula 🙂
Or mad scientist fidgeting can include altering their clothing while they wear it. Start with four zippers on your pants when you walk into an elevator and by the time your out one leg has been sewn together with nano threads and the zipper is part of your shirt now. Then while you are waiting on the escalators your other leg has the zipper shifted so it goes up and down instead of around
