SURPRISE! IT’S A STILEZ AND TAX STORY NOW! What, you didn’t think Skye was the the ONLY forgotten secondary character this storyline would bring back, did you? But yeah, THIS is what you’ve got to look forward to in the new year, kiddies: EXPLOSIVE AMAZONIAN CATGIRL ACTION!

You guys better enjoy this page, too, ‘cos it was MURDER to get done. Having to start over from scratch due to a power outage is NOT fun, ya’ll. Also, dramatic poses and angles and crap continue to be my nemesis, and getting used to characters I haven’t drawn in a while didn’t help matters. Speaking of which, eagle-eyed readers will notice the details on Stilez’s plugsuit have changed yet again (well, they will now that I mentioned it). This is one of those things where I love the basic idea (the implication being she never bothered to get rid of the sciency-suit she had on when she escaped the lab) but can’t for the life of me get the details to where I like ’em. Skintight jumpsuits just aren’t the kind of costume I have much experience in. Heck, just look at how often Layla’s containment suit spontaneously changed.

And in the meantime, get ready for a metric crap-ton of Christmas comics starting NEXT MONDAY! Twenty-five days straight of holiday silliness unbound by the laws of canon and narrative logic! ENJOY!

Unfortunately, what I WON’T have to offer next month is the new Voting Incentive series. Oh, there’ll still be new incentives Tuesday and Friday, but they’ll still be random doodles like today’s new Incentive. I’m not gonna launch the new story until I have a decent number of pages already drawn. The way this past week went, that wasn’t happening (see above) But hey, lots and lots of silly Christmas pages! That’s neat, right? See ya Monday!

(Historical Notes: I’ve said it before, I will keep saying it forever, this is EASILY the best cliffhanger in Far Out There history.  I normally can’t time these breaks out to coincide with ANY plot developments, let alone one that’s this much of a tease for the future.  And man, even I didn’t realize just how MUCH of the future this was setting up.  It’s crazy to think about how much time has passed, isn’t it?  Also, I love how Past me is already complaining about Stilez’s plug-suit, which would eventually result in me changing her whole design… to something that takes even LONGER to draw and has even MORE details I can’t keep straight!)
