page 1247 – A Brief To-Do List
First off, because of the kind of comic this is, I feel like I need to specify that Marshall does NOT have the paranormal ability to split himself into multiple forms in order to get more done. It probably goes without saying that this was just an artistic way to show him darting around all over the place, but again, it wouldn’t be outside the realms of possibility for Far Out There to have a character who could literally do this.
Anyway, see? I told you there’d randomly be a whole page just to show off the layout of the ship’s kitchen! Granted, the perspective wound up not showing quite as much as I’d originally intended. I wound up instinctively drawing the same basic arrangement of the kitchen in the restaurant where I used to work, which ALSO led to me instinctively drawing it from the very back, where I spent must of my time polishing glasses. Oh, and also there’s a big giant speech bubble obscuring half the page. That too.
Now if ya’ll will excuse me, I need to get a head start on next week’s Halloween page, so that AFTERWARDS I can get a head start on next week’s REAL page, which goes up the day after. Actually, speaking of which, remember that this is the last regular update to be on Monday! Starting next week, Far Out There Day will officially be Tuesday!

Ah, Marshall… Did your extreme subspace travel combined with your already high cooking ability give you a biologically locked temporal ability while cooking? Because we can see you in six places actively doing six things simultaneously. Even if this is normal for you, it could easily be the side effect of the temporal loops you ran into during the travel affecting you biologically from the point you first learnt how to cook, because time was messed with and you can never tell when the side effects of messing with time would start.
Basically, has anyone ran any sort of temporal tests for what happens when you’re cooking, particularly if it’s something you consider a complicated meal to prepare? Unlike this simple three to seven course dinner.
Oh… I can say definitively that Marshall isn’t temporally appearing in multiple places and more than he is physically appearing in other places… but at the same time, you actually HAVE brushed up against something I can’t give away just yet!
