page 1212 – What could possibly go wrong?
So, how many pages of this comic did Layla spend trying to prevent literally this exact moment from happening? That’s one of the many life lessons to be learned from Far Out there: the longer you spend working at something, the more certainly that thing will fall apart with a wet thud the moment you turn your back. If this comic every becomes an animated series, I will absolutely include public service messages at the end of every episode so the audience can learn even MORE positive life lessons like this one!
Honestly, I kinda wish I’d been able to manage the pages well enough for this to be the page that went up BEFORE the Valentine’s page instead of after. A sudden Stilez appearance always makes for a great cliffhanger, even if it’s only for a week or two. Oh speaking of which, I probably don’t need to do this while the comic is only updating once a week, but ya’ll DID see the special page for last week, right?

so….I’m wondering: should they immediately recognize Stilez? Sure, she’s famous, but I think it’s been implied in the past that there are few if any good photos of her due to her tendency to destroy camera drones or something along those lines. And it seems that with the future’s tendency towards body mods she’s probably not the only giant catgirl, just the only one that leaves a swath of destruction and mayhem thrughout the galaxy. Really, given the unliklihood of running into a specific celebrity among the septillions of people in the galaxy the assumption that it’s just some random catgirl-modded passenger would be bay far the most logical one. So, of course, these chunni kids would immediately assume it’s THE Stilez, due to their inflated idea of their own importance in the grand scheme of things. Or at least Avi would.
