I’ve said it before, in various iterations, and I’ll say it again: a substantial percentage of the creative decisions in the making of this comic are driven by the desire to draw characters making silly faces. The rest is just a whole lot of justification.
Well, things have calmed down to a decent degree around here (I hope), to the point that I’m NOT plowing ahead and inking Friday’s page along with this one. Let’s see if that makes the work flow better or worse!
To be fair, comics are a great silly faces delivery system.
May is pretty lucky Stilez brings out the best in Ichabod. Where “Best” is equivalent to “Wants to keep Stilez away from himself at all costs”. I’m pretty sure that’s the Webster definition.
Like so many of us, Ichabod’s noblest traits have to be dragged out of him kicking and screaming.
