I don’t even have to ASK anyone to suggest a potential name down in the comments, because I already know you’re gonna on your own 😀
Anyway, I’m a bit crank at this page, because it’s another one where the layout got a bit away from me. Specifically, I didn’t do anywhere NEAR enough planning regarding where the speech bubbles would go. I probably should have gone back and re-drawn at least part of this page in order to make things less messy, but I’ve got a long drive to make tomorrow, so I needed to commit to what I had and get it done in time to get some sleep. And, thankfully, I did! And not just this page either, but I once again managed to get Friday’s page done ahead of time too! Look, I’m gonna keep bragging about this for as long as it still feels like a personal victory… so for a while.
I christen this ship the intrepid What Do We Do Now? Looks Like You Say Something And It Becomes The Ship’s Name. Oh. Uhh, What Do We Call It? I Don’t Know, You’re The Leader. I’m Not The Leader, Hiro’s The Leader! You Keep Saying That, But… ANYWAY! We Need To Come Up With A Cool Ship Name! Umm, I Think It’s Recording Us Already. What? But We Don’t Have a Name Yet! How Do I Make It Stop? Well I’d Tell You, But You Wanted To Turn This Thing On Before I Finished Reading The Manual. Psh, Manuals Are Boring. Manuals Are Valuable Guides To Understanding Machinery And— Yeah, I Don’t Care. Guys? It’s Still Recording. Augh! Turn It Off! Turn It Off! I Think This Button Might Stop I—

Thanks, I had a lot of fun with it.
Because I only just thought of this, imagine the ship rattling this whole thing off with Layla getting increasingly frustrated that it just keeps going and won’t shut up. Meanwhile Trigger just goes along with it like it’s a perfectly normal name for a ship to have.
Alternatively, next chapter the ship is now going to be named “(Insert entire last panel’s conversation here, starting from ‘Gosh’)”
