This one is particularly funny if you have any concept of where the background photos were actually taken. None of these pictures were taken all THAT far apart from each other, but in this case the two panels are just a block apart on the same street IRL. There is literally nothing preventing anybody from walking from Avatar’s location to Ichabod’s, even through one-tenth of an inch of snow. I mean, yeah, that’s still more snow than most people in The South would WANT to walk through, but you get my point.
Capn Crosby, the sheer fact that you’re waiting for a Bus suggests that you can’t drive through this much snow even with your eyes open. As you can’t drive period.
…Unless, of course, you were expecting to drink to excess tonight, and you’re being responsible by avoiding having the option of drink-driving.
Lol, I like that suggestion, actually.
I think he can drive, but is too cheap to get a car…or a taxi/uber. Bus is the cheapest possible way, so it’s the Cap’n way. Avatar is old enough to drive, and knows how to drive since she knows everything, but nobody at the DMV will believe she’s old enough to get a license, and since she doesn’t know who she originally was, she has no i.d. to prove it.
