To be fair, this is probably how most normal people feel about seeing ME in December.
Also, sudden location change! No, this is not what the inside of the building Ichabod had been standing in front of this whole time actually looks like. I haven’t actually been inside that place since SEVERAL waves of drastic remodeling. No, the actual location of this alleged office party will be played by the hotel/convention center where Animazement used to be. I was in that neck of the woods a few years ago for an entirely different convention and snuck in to take pictures for use in Conventional Wisdom… and haven’t really done much with most of them ever since. Seriously, I haven’t even DONE a set of ConCONcon comics in the past couple of years. So guess what? I’m finding new ways to get some use out of those pictures!
Also, I get to stop adding extra layers of snowfall onto the art after this! Whole MINUTES of time being saved here!
EDIT: Huh, that’s weird, the update didn’t go live on schedule. I’m not even sure if it was my fault or not, and I’m not sure if that would make things better or worse anyway.
After the first panel I thought it might end up with Ichabod at the party surrounded only by characters-whose-names-we-don’t-know-yet, who he not only hadn’t invited, but had no idea who they even were.
New alternative theory – Ichabod + May, Frank, Megaweapon, Vashti’s brother, and the Stupendous Justice league kids manage to find their way there after all. i.e. the people-nobody-ever-wants-at-any-party. Also may or may not include a Misanthropic Genie.
