OH THANKS HEAVENS WE’RE BACK IN BUSINESS. My computer situations is still a bit precarious (it’s hasn’t actually been “fixed” it just… kinda stopped being broken, so I’ll still be having it looked at in the near future) but things are working enough for me to start getting comics done again… sort of.

Yeah, this page is a lot more unfinished than even the usual “posting an unfinished page” situations. Not only is it obviously not colored (and the coloring will involve many layers of glowy color gradients), not only is the line art not fully polished up, not ONLY is the panel layout not finalized yet (the current boring squares are mostly just there to help me place everything and will be swapped out with something more dramatic in the final draft) BUUUUUUT there’s actually an important element of the comic that’s not in this version. The final draft is supposed to have an oblivious Stilez passing in front of a doorway in the background of the bottom frame, as a reminder of just who Bridget is trying to show up (and to serve as a reminder that Stilez totally hasn’t noticed there’s a rivalry going on in the first place).

Alas, those computer problems TOTALLY wrecked my schedule for the week, and that was already bonkers crazy with the leftover Otakon comics for Patreon AND the upcoming AWA comics also left to do. Since I’ve already left you guys hanging ONCE this week, I really, REALLY didn’t want to go past noon without SOME kind of update. So tune in later tonight for the finished draft of today page.

(And no, in the midst of all this, I wasn’t able to get a new Voting Incentive done. If I can get the Otakon Patreon comics done this weekend, there’ll be a new Incentive on Tuesday. IF.)

(Historical Notes: Okay, so what happened with the computer seems to be that dust and crud had blocked up something, so it was overheating every time it tried to start up.  This had actually happened before, to the extend that I had to get some internal bits replaced.  Nothing too substantial, just the little bits connecting some of the bigger bits had burned out.  This time, we vacuumed out all the dust, and that seemed to be enough to get the computer up and running without actually replacing anything.  And wouldn’t you know it, that computer TECHNICALLY still works to this very day.  I only stopped using it because Microsoft stopped supporting its version of Windows and I couldn’t justify going through the trouble of trying to update such an old computer instead of just moving up to something newer.  Oh, and that that Stilez in the back is VERY obviously stitched together from two past images of her and Ichabod, because I realized there was too much dead space in the background.)
