page 1466 – The Sidequest AFTER The Sidequest
What, you thought that skyline on top of that ship was just for aesthetic purposes? Also, YAY HOLOGRAMS!
Also also, I’m once again writing this out DAY in advance. It’s still only Monday evening as I queue this up. HOPEFULLY nothing has happened between now and your reading this to stop me from getting the next TWC Voting Incentive finished. Dang it, I really need to listen to Layla on this topic more…

I didn’t think they were aesthetic, but I assumed that the city was a whole unit you deposited and the ship got used for infrastructure. I’m not sure why I thought that though. This is WAY more Far Out There.
I assumed it deposited the city infrastructure and then acted as a factory producing additional buildings, but I expected that it was originally a giant city-filled robot, which transformed into a city-filled ship for transport, then when it got to the target planet, transformed back to a giant robot to battle the indigenous kaiju which might threaten the city, likely in part by shooting skyscrapers at them (future skyscrapers are a lot more durable), and then transformed into a machine to build infrastructure connecting the skyscrapers now semi-randomly littering the landscape to create a city.
Oh sure, skyscrapers are okay when they’re girls (By which I mean a boy band, not at all confsuing), but you’ve got a problem wih them when they’re space ships?
Layla mentions giant sky scrapers….
Marshall, reflexively, glances a the logo of skyscrapers on Layla’s shirt, being a nitpicker and thus immediately noting the odd coincidence between the logo and their conversation topic.
Layla “What are you looking at?!?”
Marshall immediately turns the same color as the holographic projection as he tries to stammer something about the conicidnetal skyscraper shirt logo
…and this is why she now wears a shirt with the word “girls” on the BACK instead of across her chest!
