page 1444 – They’re Very Busy Observing
Confession time, guys: this page wasn’t supposed to exist. Remember last time, when I said I completely revamped the whole structure of THAT page? Well, the original plan had included drawing the panel with the floppy food ship being carried in such a way that we’d be able to see all the Nitpickers tagging along in the background watching. But in all the chaos of changing up the page, I totally forgot about that bit and drew a page where it just looked like Layla & the boys walking along by themselves. Well, at the risk of giving away spoilers, it IS going to be plot relevant later on that the others are also tagging along, so now what was SUPPOSED to be a subtle little background detail needs to be a whole page unto itself just to keep all the pieces in play later. Drat.
Well, anyway, there’s a new TWC Voting Incentive up, and if I do my time management properly, there should ALSO be another bonus extra comic going up on Saturday… though if the above paragraph tells us anything, it’s that this is a BIG if…
Considering that of the three actually doing work, Marshall is the only one who nannying the kids is actually his job as Mariska’s trainee, and Layla is doing pro bono work for the Nitpickers Guild…I wonder if she realizes that? Ichabod should be sure to thank her for helping out the Guild for nothing 🙂
