page 1383 – How Much Layla Cares Is Meat-Related
What’s this? A new page going up and it’s not even Monday yet, let alone Tuesday? Yeah, uh, probably don’t get use to THAT. I’m in the midst f trying to DRASTICALLY overhaul my whole work flow and personal schedule, which resulted in this page getting done WAY earlier than usual. The ultimate goal is to clear up time and energy to work on other stuff, which could very well result in me NOT having more pages done on Sunday night. But hey, as long as this one is done now, why NOT go ahead and post it?
By the way, slightly annoying bit here: I was having trouble with the blocking of this many characters, and having Marshall cut through from out of nowhere, and blah blah blah. As a result, my ORIGINAL plan to have part of the page dominated by something silly on the TV got scrapped in order to focus more attention on getting the character art right… only to then realize mid-editing that there actually WAS room for the screen in the middle panel. So while we DO get a TV gag, it’s very simple and last minute since it’s created entirely in editing rather than drawn from the start with everything else. Oh well.

AND FINALLY, as if that wasn’t content enough for you, I actually went and posted a new Far Out There-related blog over on Patreon! Any patrons over the $1 bare minimum (so, $2 and up) and read my latest behind the scenes ramblings. And yes, one of the reasons I’m trying to revamp my work flow IS so that I’ll finally make the time to do more Far Out There comics for Patreon, like finally finishing up those Jenna comics.
EDIT: Okay, was able to restrain myself from dumping FINE THOUSAND POUNDS OF CONTENT all onto The Internet in one batch again this week, but there is a fresh TWC Voting Incentive up right now!
The boys actively tried to hit the “Top 5 Ways To Upset Layla” list, though they avoided the number 1 slot (insulting or mocking Layla’s father, which is Unforgivable). If you, Ichabod, think that will be rapidly forgiven, you’re acting like a fool. She’s giving them space so that she doesn’t get more upset with them.
And the funniest thing is, he’s saying this to someone who’s literally surrounded by evidence that this generally ISN’T true.
