page 1306 – The Noisy Neighbors
Another page that really would have worked better if I’d thought to slip it into the middle of all the Stilez/Cap’n Crosby pages rather than tacking it on many pages after we last saw them, but darn it, I thought it was funny and don’t know when I’ll get another chance to do it. Besides, it’s another chance to do a quick reminder of multiple plot elements that haven’t been in play for a while. Heck, I’m rather embarrassed to admit just how much checking I had to do to remind myself how to properly draw those other two ships. It’s been a while, ain’t it?
But then, I shouldn’t be talking about the passage of time right now, because there’s a reason the early-birds are already seeing this page on Monday afternoon. I’ve bot not one, but TWO extra pages in the works for this week… and I totally lost track of the fact that one of them would actually need to go up on Tuesday, where this page would normally go. So SURPRISE! Page 1206 goes up half a day early! Anyway, yeah, tune in again tomorrow AND Wednesday for some time-sensitive extra content. HOPEFULLY there’ll also be a new TWC Voting Incentive on Friday too, though that depends on how tired I am by that point. Because of COURSE the week I try to do some extra stuff is the week where I also end up having Real Life stuff going on to distract me further (hence my losing track of which day is which in the fist place)
If they think that’s scary, just wait until they are attacked by some terrifyingly large 2 digit numbers in space…or something weird like that…which might coincidentally happen soon….
Looks like SOMEBODY has a better handle on what’s happening when than I did 🙂
The funny thing is that I immediately recognized the significance of Tuesday’s date, but had to think a while to remember what the Wednesday event was – it’s obvious which is the more important date!
Oh, I can one-up that: I’ve had trouble remembering BOTH since I stopped going to the anime convention that traditionally happens the same week!
@ Voting Incentive: Spaghetti Stillez isn’t terrifying enough. She needs to, seemingly without utilizing any supernatural powers, be able to make the Flying Spaghetti Monster look like a toy.
…actually, that would be a good page inside of the Stillez and Tax Adventures comic. Stillez is turned into a plate of Spaghetti and, when the Flying Spaghetti Monster they’ve been chasing/abusing comes to taunt her about it, she eats the entire thing. Despite being a plate of Spaghetti herself.
