page 1207 – Space Portals Are Enablers
Well, THIS took a lot longer than expected! Sorry about that, gang. I got my booster shot last week, and it slowed me down pretty drastically for a few days there. I was actually pretty close to posting a line art version of the page this morning, but convinced myself it couldn’t take THAT long to finish coloring the page in… and yeah, I totally should have gone ahead and done that. And just to make matters worse, there’s a pretty darn good chance that next week’s page will end up being late, too. I’m on the road all of this coming weekend, and while I’ll certainly TRY to get page 1208 finished ahead of time,or at least as close to finished that I won’t have much left to do come Sunday night… there’s also the very real possibility that I’ll just need to collapse in bed come Sunday night. If I’ve gotta push the next page back by a day or two, I’ll come back here and add an extra message from THE FUTURE. Hopefully, I’ll still be able to get a new Voting Incentive done by Thursday, but if there’s any problems on that front, I’ll warn you about it too. Dang it, I felt like I ws finally settling into a good steady update groove again…
Oh, and there’s more nerdy references in Marshall’s ingredients pile! Apparently this meal will be catered by Star Trek.
(1/13 EDIT: The good news is, the new TWC Voting Incentive is up right on schedule. The less good news is that page 1208 is nowhere NEAR finished yet, and with me being out and about this weekend, there’s a really good chance it still won’t be ready come Monday. Keep an eye out for future updates over the next few days, but odds are good it won’t be up until at least Tuesday.)
As far as the “nerdy references”, I’m sad to say that at webcomic scale, most of them have become illegible. I can read “Frozen Tube Grubs”, and below Marshall’s armpit, it looks like something or other steak, then near the bottom right I can almost read “A???ja Sticks”. Above that, maybe “Liola Root”?
