Happy 13th Birthday, Far Out There!
I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! The day has at long last come! An all new, original, non-reposted Far Out There comic has finally gone up on the new site before ANYPLACE else! …if you don’t count those OTHER two comics, which I won’t directly identify because I want anybody who wasn’t paying attention earlier to have to go back and find what I’m talking about for themselves. Hey, what do you expect? Far Out There is a surly teenager now! Of COURSE the comic is going to start getting rebellious and difficult! And also even more self-indulgent than usual, because WOW this page was fun to color.
But with the celebrations, out of the way, there’s just one question everybody wants to have answered: WHEN DO REAL COMICS START BACK UP? Well, I don’t wanna go getting people’s hopes up for page 1168 dropping TOO soon, but I’ll save the full new post until tomorrow… BECAUSE THERE’S A SECOND SPECIAL COMIC GOING UP FOR VALENTINES DAY, TOO! It’s just like old times, ain’t it?
…those other two comic pages don’t “officially” count, as they came up before the site finished reuploading all the old comics, and are thus a part of that count. As such, this is the first “new” page that’s been uploaded.
…of course, I could also state that this page shouldn’t “officially” count as a new page either, since it’s a splash page without anything happening in the comic itself, unlike many of the previous birthday pictures that were actually incorporated into the comic itself.
…unless the Alt Text is correct, and this comic establishes that Vengeance really DOES have neon lights under his cloak.

This most certainly canonical strip clearly establishes that the real Vengeance is actually a being composed entirely of a cloud of red glowing ionized plasma (capable of changing its density and intensity to form shapes/numbers/letters apparently) and the outer Vengeance that we are used to seeing is merely an artificial shell which acts to contain the ionized plasma field in normal (for us solids) environments and/or allows him to interact with normal solid beings. The red glowing eye is so the plasma-being has a little window to look out of.
Those other 2 pages don’t count because…Blitz says they don’t! That’s totally sufficient reason!
In all seriousness, DD is correct that this is the first new page AFTER all the re-posts wrapped up, so we can go with that.
