Well, so much for getting back out ahead of the page deadline. That was pretty much a doomed mission, though, since this page perfectly encapsulates why I’m not actually showing the fights. That one pin in the top panel probably took longer to draw than the whole previous week’s worth of comics put together. A SUPER weird pose at a difficult angle, involving two characters with wildly different proportions all tangled up like a spandex-clad pretzel. It took a LOOOOOOOOT of erasing and redrawing to get it to where you could at least somewhat tell what’s supposed to be going on… without somebody’s arm being suddenly, inexplicably longer than it should be, that is.

Of course, that clearly had NO effect on the bottom-right panels, which were TOTALLY left crude and not colored in as an artistic choice to express the audience’s apprehension over this sudden, gimmicky-looking object and IN NO WAY me cutting corners to get the page done a little faster. Nope. Not even a little.

Besides, if I REALLY wanted to save time, I wouldn’t have done a new Voting Incentive for today… but I did! HA!

(Historical Notes: There’s not really anything worth saying about the making of this page that wasn’t already said up top, so instead I’ll bring up something I forgot to mention earlier.  There was some disappointment about Far Out There Championship Wrestling being an all-women’s promotion, specifically because that meant Megaweapon woudn’t be getting beat up at any point.  This is a totally valid thing to be disappointed over.)
