page 1462 – Like A Good Friend Should
…iiiiiiiiiiit’s Rough Draft Time again, kiddies! So, um, I may have… slightly… fallen asleep as soon as I got the new Voting Incentive for this week done. I didn’t even get started penciling this page until around 5am. Thankfully, though, this is one of those pages where the joke’s not all that dependent on effects or editing, so I’m just gonna slap this barely-cleaned up version here for now. Check back in, hopefully, a couple of hours for the cleaned up final draft.
EDIT: THERE! All done! Sorry for the delay, but I wound up stopping to make lunch. Man, I just can’t finish ANYTHING without taking a break, can I? Anyway, here’s the original rough draft for anybody who wants to see the “before” that came before this “after.”

….There’s another definition of help?
Man there’s a lot of people in the hangar right now, aren’t there?
……Should they all be tagged by virtue of technically being present in the art?
Yes, they should! That is a correct Nitpick. Particularly since they are all identifiable, even in the sketchy version.
I’ve been trying to restrict the tagging to characters who actually have dialog and are prominent in the foreground. Yes, it’s not strictly accurate to the image itself, but it ensures that someone (that is, ME) searching through the tags looking for something won’t have to root through pages and pages of only-barely-applicable results in order to find something. That’s ESPECIALLY applicable top pages like this, where 2/3rds of the whole cast are technically present. Like, yes, Avatar is technically here, but if I’m specifically looking for “Avatar Pages,” then having this one come up wouldn’t be very helpful.
OK, that does seem like a reasonable point. And nebulously defined enough that we can’t actually say that either choice is wrong for a particular page unless its super obvious 🙂
Careful, Mariska, Stilez gets upset if she sees some other girl being mean to her boyfriend 😉
Of course, Ichabod will then have to ‘distract’ her again. Which will bring about more teasing, and we’re stuck in a loop.
Stilez is probably the sort where you could say mean things around her in a nice voice and she wouldn’t pick up on it (Except, ya know, when it’s comedic).
I was already shocked when Stilez realized that May was actually annoying Ichabod, but she was being very loud and obnoxious about it, so it was probably that more than actual words being comprehended.
