page 1445 – A Mildly Concerning Moment
Okay, I’m posting a rough draft again, because there’s thunder & lightning outside tonight, and we already had the power go out for a bit LAST night. Don’t wanna take any chances, especially since I always end up getting caught off guard by how long it takes to finish editing pages with this many panels. If you’re seeing the scratchy line-art version, just check back here in a few hours and hopefully the finished version will be ready by then.
But in the meantime, SPEAKING of lots of panels… this page probably could have been broken up into two separate pages. I most likely WOULD have done that, if I hadn’t already been spreading things out needlessly over OTHER pages recently, and really reeeaaally don’t want to drag out things even longer. That, and if I went ahead and broke this page up at the logical point, right after the first panel, it would leave the first page a little too close to just repeating the other times Bridget has… “given” something to Stilez. That bit at the end is kind of the whole point, so best to go ahead and give ti everybody right away… even if that means the editing will be anything but “right away.”
EDIT: Well, THAT sure turned out to be a good move. The house may not have lost power, but I sure did. Yup, I had to drop everything and go to bed before the page was finished again. Another reason why I tend to avoid doing comics with this many panels these days. Also, MAN I really need to hurry up and get Stilez into a new costume, it takes SO FREAKIN’ LONG to color in all those stripes! ESPECIALLY when it has to be done multiple times per page!
Either Stillez is about to remember someone other than Ichabod & Tax, OR Tabitha just messed up big time getting distracted while supposedly trying to distract Stillez.
…Wait… If I presume this works out in the best way possible, Stillez is about to leave through a wall and not go anywhere near those approaching with the food-ship. All because Bridget threw a wrench while Stillez was being nice.
