page 60 – The Revolution WILL Be Televised

AUGH! WALL OF TEXT’S REVENGE!
Um… yeah, I won’t even try to deny it. There’s WAY too much information on this page. I could easily have broken this into two or three pages, and probably should have (I mean, the whole page is about someone WE NEVER ACTUALLY SEE).
But, see, there’s the thing: NOTHING ON THIS PAGE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL PLOT. I’ve just had the idea of the Princess Rheiko story as a jab at modern pop culture for a while and this seemed like a good place to throw it in. The last time I just threw an extra idea in the mix, it resulted in Avatar giving a guided tour for nearly a month. Obviously, I’m erring on the side of caution this time.
Your thoughtful consideration is appreciated. Honestly though? Stretched over two pages with some of your artwork to spice it up would have been nice. You’ve got a great style goin’ on.
These days, yeah, I’d probably have gone ahead and just shown instead of told… which is funny, seeing as how these days the comic updates waaaaaaaay less frequently than it did back in the day. Young Me was TERRIFIED of not cranking out as much content as humanly possible as quickly as possible.
