Far Out There

I’d LIKE to make some snobbish comment about this being why I haven’t missed having a TV for the past year… but you know what? I REALLY enjoyed doing this page. Like, more than any page for weeks. I actually made myself laugh a LOT while coming up with this stupidity.

That might be partially due to the fact that finally get to see a bit of the show that Maureen and Sandy are famous for. I’m always giddy when I get to work in some long forgotten secondary characters… OR add to the already over-stuffed pop culture of this comic’s world. Here, I get to do BOTH!

Odd fact, this page actually got finished around midnight. For whatever reason, it took ages and ages for me to get the Killer Station of Deadly Doom voting incentive done. I dunno why, it isn’t even very complicated. It was just real slow going. Well, now that you know that, you’ll be sure to vote and see it, right?

(Historical Notes: Astute readers will notice that Sandy’s design isn’t quite there yet at this point, lacking that one big hair curl or her final glasses shape.  I added those later when I realized that this design looks too much like Claire’s… which I ALSO wound up changing because it looked too much like Tabitha… who of course was changed as well because she looked too much like Layla… Man, I really do need to learn how to draw more faces.)
