MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!  And for all the folks who’ve never seen Far Out There before: meet Avatar, everyone’s favorite character despite (or because) of my constant habit of forgetting to work her into things!  Fun behind the scene rant: the “real” version of this page is another animated one, just some sparkling around the letter… and there was supposed to be something else.  I WANTED the main detail to be the lighting bits on Avatar fluctuating along with the shimmer from the letters, but for some reason Clip Studio kept scaling the frames out juuuust differently enough for the animation to come out distractingly jittery.  Like, just one pixel off, but enough where you couldn’t help but notice it was doing something wrong.  For some reason, it only came out right when I used the same single image of Avatar with the same lighting throughout.  Even after all these years, I am in a constant state of not knowing what I’m doing.
But yeah! That’s this year’s Christmas Far Out There comics!  Thanks to everyone who put up with it being on a different site while the rebuilding drags on, I should hopefully be finished re-posting everything on the new site by February.  And when that happens, NEW FAR OUT THERE COMICS WILL FINALLY RETURN!  And to anyone who’s only just discovered Far Out There through these comics, thanks for joining the party!  Be sure to head over to the new site and see what’s already gone up.  My apologies for the mess and how sloppy the first year or two of comics are.  It’ll all get better!  Merry Christmas!

(Historical Notes: I still feel a bit bad for not thinking of something more substantial for Avatar to do in these.  Seems like there’s always some hoard of new characters showing up to hog the spotlight and take her screentime, huh?)
