So, out of all new Nitpickers I’d wanted to introduce in regular comics, Aunt Domino is the only one where I really managed to do it.  I mean, TECHNICALLY Xeselgrox and Hanes showed up in those comics as well, but just as background characters.  Does a character really count as being “introduced before” if we’re only just now learning their names?

Also, the thought just now occurred to me that the next time we see Claire, I should have had her come out wearing a different shirt because of how sweaty Helmut is.  Oh well.

ALSO also, I said it would happen, and it really did: Far Out There’s finally back to re-posting old pages to the new site, even as these new pages are coming out! And believe it or not, there’s even a new Voting Incentive on Top WebComics!  It’s literally been a year since that happened!  Christmas miracles everywhere!

(Historical Notes: Okay, somehow I managed to misspell Aunt Domino’s name in the original version of this comic as… well, “Aunt Dominos.”  Like, it wasn’t a botched attempt to write her name as a possessive or anything, I just forgot it was meant to be singular.  Probably because it honestly WASN’T meant to be that originally.  Since she’s all about the whimsical British psychedelic singles, I named her after a mashup of two Syd Barrett songs: “Gigolo Aunt” and “Dominoes,” except I kept writing ts singular rather than plural. It just sounds better that way.  And yet, somehow, my brain reverted back to that original version while typing up this page.  Yet another reason why I like having these fancy new tags to keep details straight.  Oh, and speaking of names, it took no time at all for anyone to catch on that “Xeselgrox” was NOT the name of the guy with the bowl on his head.  Except that, originally it WAS, and Hanes was the red head… until realized how boring and predictable it was.  And even then, I didn’t act on that realization right away.  It honestly took me a while to remember that this is my own comic and I can just do whatever I want.  Clearly, it was the right call.)
