(Historical Notes: Yup, italics only AGAIN.  This problem just HAD to start presenting itself right after a very busy couple of days, when I’m least up to the task of coming up with something clever to say right off the top of my head.  Then again, glancing ahead at the next page that DOES have commentary suggests that I was so busy working on Conventional Wisdom that I had to push the next page back a day.  That bein the case, I doubt Past Me would’ve had much to say about this page either.  Oh, I do wish this page had landed BEFORE that Valentine’s one.  Avi’s change of demeanor here would have worked a lot better if we hadn’t already seen him clearly crushing as hard on Layla as the others.  I blame that one filler Blip comic!)
