page 994 – Too Many Cast Members
(Historical Notes: Yup, italics only again. I’m sure Past Me had some incredibly insightful comments about what qualifies as a “bad guy” in the Far Out There universe or a deeper insight into Layla’s psychology, but as I sit here now, all I can think of is how Ichabod has never been more of an author avatar than he is right here. “Bah” indeed.)
@ Historical Notes: No, there is no chance of you having comments about what counts as a “bad guy” in the FOT or Layla’s Psychology, as the only people who care about “bad guy’s” on this page is the “Club”, and it’s known that they only care about whether it’s something that would allow them to be seen as hero’s, or problematic to them as individual’s.
There’s always Ichabod, he’s a super villain just waiting to happen 🙂
…No. We have seen no motivation from him to do anything even remotely illegal, so saying he’s a super villain waiting to happen is a streatch. The worst he’s done, that we have seen, was abuse his position to get Layla fired in order to give her a “crime doesn’t pay” lesson, only to get it turned on him due to the fact that he acted in a biased manner despite the fact that his job there was to be completely unbiased.
Honestly, he’s more of a hero who’s too lazy to attempt any heroics unless absolutely necessary for his own survival.
I wish I had that Voting Incentive of Ichabod daydreaming about being a dictator handy to link to, but I don’t think it’s actually available online at the moment.
Even if it’s a fantasy he occasionally has, the amount of work needed to make everything work to the specifications he wants is so overwhelming that he would quit shortly afterwards due to the paperwork stopping him from having the possibility of seeing his girlfriend in the next decade, at least.
