On general principle, I’m never happy about a page being late. It just never sits right with me when I say “I’m gonna do this thing!” and it doesn’t get done. But that said, MAN, if ever there was a day when I would ALMOST be okay with getting stuff done on time, this would be it. I actually sat down and counted, and -all projects put together- I’ve drawn over SIXTY COMIC PAGES this month. That’s NUTS, man! So, yeah, in that respect, even a half-finished page at 4:30 is kind of a remarkable achievement. But enough self-pity, I’ll have the final draft of the page up by tonight. Sorry!

And speaking of me getting things done late, today’s Voting Incentive related to what I spent yesterday finishing up INSTEAD of this page. It all ties together, you see.

Oh, and I guess we should talk about the actual comic itself a little, because we’ve finally done it. It finally happened. After nearly 900 pages, Far Out There has finally dropped all pretenses and openly made hugs into a plot point. Truly this comic has come into its own.

(Historical Notes: Random, non-comic-related factoid, but several of the comments for this page revolved around SmackJeeves’ ability to to add a title to your comment, or even have that title BE the comment… a feature SJ no longer allows, so several of those posts no longer say anything.  Such an amazing, problem-free site upgrade…)
