Hey, remember back when draining the pool was a plot point? Of course you do! Why wouldn’t you remember that? It’s not like that was TWO WHOLE YEARS AGO OR ANYTHING. Why wouldn’t everyone remember that was a thing that happened?
Also, any technical diagram I’m required to draw will involve a lot of large sections just labeled “STUFF”. Heck, if I had to illustrate how my car works, I’d just write “here be dragons” in big letters.
Oh, and if you DO remember that little plot point, and are wondering why there’s suddenly a lever for this sort of thing… well, have a peak at today’s new Voting Incentive!
(Historical Notes: Did… did Past Me deliberately make the pool-draining control look a bit like a slot machine handle, since it’s page 777? I was obviously thinking about it enough to make the page NAME a play on that, but I dunno if I was far ahead enough on the drawing to realize that number was coming up.)
@ Historical Notes: Honestly, I suspect that the handle design was based off of Mad Scientist Movies, you know the ones with the pointlessly massive switches of importance.
