Sooooo… normally this would be the place where I debate weather or not I should have done the whole “text in white space with illustrations on the side” thing instead of just Ichabod sitting in a chair the whole time. But you know what? No. I absolutely believe that whatever you imagined when you read the word “Glassopotamus” is funnier than whatever I could have come up with to doodle.

Anyway, it’s nice to have a chance to see Sophia again. She’s really hard to work into the main comic. It’s also nice to have more random glimpses into Ichabod’s wacky past, especially when I don’t have to explain what the heck it means (though more that one of those actually IS an early reference to something in a future story, so have fun wildly speculating!)

And finally, a new Voting Incentive which, I gotta confess, I’d kinda forgotten I had to do (I got REALLY used to having a big pile of those Incentives done to cover Otakon)

(Historical Notes: This may be the one page I’ve gone back and re-read more than any other page in all of Far Out There, just to make sure I had my weird background references straight.  We’ve seen pretty much all these funky names pop up again.  Also, because it came up in the comments, I should clarify that the “we don’t deal with Stilez” thing is more a liability thing between the Nitpicker’s Guild and its customers.  It only really affects other Nitpickers in the sense that the Guild can’t set a precedent of helping each other out in ways that they won’t for everybody else, at least when it’s a liability nightmare like Stilez.  And even then, Sophia would probably at least TRY to help out any Nitpicker other than Ichabod, she’s just being strict with him because she KNOWS he could handle this situation on his own.  That, and it’s Ichabod.  People are just naturally disinclined to help in out if they don’t have to.)
