page 5 – DUN DUN DUUUUN!
LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of exposition here. Hey, at least it’s all getting out of the way now.
You know, I really don’t like drawing outdoors. The bunker was way more fun.
(Historical Note: Oh, how sweet and hilarious than I thought I was getting the big blocks of text out of the way early)
@alt text – I assumed the outdoors was specifically drawn that way to look “idyllic” in contrast to the dire description in Trigger’s training vid. I guess that’s another one of those jokes that only existed in my mind….
Again, that WAS the original intent I was going for at the time, but looking back at it now I can’t take it seriously anymore. I think it would have worked better if I’d focused less on the puffy clouds and birds in the air and rolling hills and more on emphasizing the wide open expansive space in contrast to the cramped little bunker. If nothing else, I think I could draw that better.
