Page 351 – No. No he can’t
Oh MAN this was a fun page to draw. I’d hate to be in the same room as Megaweapon, but it IS fun to inflict him on others!
By the way, if you’re wondering why Megaweapon is suddenly at a different table than Kevin and Layla… I can guarantee that’s it’s only because I just now brought it up (I gotta stop doing that) Anyway, Kevin’s too lazy to even walk back across the room, so he just sat down at the table closest to the last snack machine he was at. So there.
As always, there’s a new Voting Incentive, and as has been the case for a week or two, I really don’t know what it is as I write this comment. So go vote and find out!
It occurred to me that this really ought to hurt Megaweapon a lot, if not shatter his teeth, seeing as how he’s biting down with full force on something zillions of times harder than diamond.
But then that raises a very important question: Is Avatar hard or squishy? Normally you would think that in order to be indestructible, Whilehuisite would have to be harder than neutronium, but then this is Mad Science we’re talking about, so maybe it can come in different forms, hard for making supernova space probes and bones, and squishy in case you wanted to make a small human out of it?
I’ve wondered this exact thing quite a bit over the years, and the answer usually comes down to “whatever makes the joke funniest.” Realistically, Avatar probably ought to be squishy/stretchy rather than super-solid, but it can be really difficult to depict massive bodily deformation in a way that’s funny rather than disturbing.
