page 1450 – Friendly Sympathetic Smile
YES! I’m writing this all the way back on Monday evening! I managed to get this page queued up THAT far in advance! Yeah, I know, it’s kind of obvious this page was done in a hurry, what with how half-finished the top panel looks in particular, but if I’m gonna get far enough ahead of things to actually get the pages that need to go up around Otakon finished in advance, there’s some sacrifices that need to be made.
Hopefully, one of those sacrifices WON’T be a new TWC Voting Incentive, but since I’m writing this so far in advance, I technically don’t know if it’ll be up once this goes live. Here’s hoping I don’t forget!
EDIT: I didn’t “forget” but I did take longer to get around to it than I should have. Still, the new Voting Incentive DID get done! …I can’t promise there’ll be one NEXT week, but there’s definitely one right now!

Of all the people that shouldn’t be mocking the failed relationships of others…..from what I undersatnd, even Ichabod’s date with Stilez still went better than ANY date with ANYBODY that Mariska has ever had.
While that is true, there’s also some rules of siblings applicable here. One example rule, a small but persistent vulnerability is more exploitable for teasing than a gaping chasm of failures. The reasoning behind this is because the vulnerability being targeted is felt more than the failures, because the failures are a constant ache while the vulnerability is only felt when struck. Or, if you want to be nice about it, it’s because attacking the vulnerability is akin to a gut-punch, while attacking the “chasm of failures” is akin to attacking an open wound in need of a dozen stiches.
At least, that’s my reasoning. The specifics of the rules vary from family to family, and are always “unspoken”, though there are some more universal ones based on culture and TV. This is one of the most common, to my understanding.
Also, everybody know that the folks most eager to point out other people’s problems are the ones most eager to distract everyone from their OWN problems (insert comment about Nitpickers in general HERE)
