page 1250 – not so stranger danger
…and don’t get to used to seeing those shorts in their full technicolor glory. This is definitely one of those “I colored everything in here so that I wouldn’t have to later” kind of pages. Granted, at the time I was coloring the page in, Trigger’s line was going to be “Those are some really COLORFUL pants,” until I realized how much funnier of a word “squiggly” is. If I’d have realized it sooner, I probably could have saved myself the trouble. Especially since, as is my wont, I wound up blowing a LOT of time designing new T-shirts for Tabitha and Bridget that are virtually illegible in the final page layout. Between that and the extra coloring, I’ve been working at this page for significantly longer than it looks like I would have been…I’m gonna go lie down.
EDIT: Voting Incentive is up!
While she’s probably lower on Layla’s List of Dangerous People (and is probably about fifth or something), as an individual Tabitha is probably the second most dangerous personally individual on the ship. Stillez is, obviously, the singular most dangerous one, and I’m ranking Tabitha right after her, followed by Vengeance at Third and Bridget at fourth. Tabitha’s second because her creations can be more dangerous than Vengeance will show himself to be. Vengeance is third because I feel he’s displayed enough capability to be more dangerous than Bridget simply from when he took that part from the thing draining the ship’s power, and Bridget’s up here because of her immense strength.
Then we get the Nitpickers, Alphonse, Avatar, Captain Crosby and Trigger himself, as some of the less capable or likely to cause gross physical harm but are capable of dismantling or otherwise disabling the ship fairly easily if they actually were to give it a try all around the same rating, even if they’re unlikely to attempt to do so.
After that, we get to the group who are probably incapable of causing damage themselves, but can prompt others to cause incredible amounts of damage on their behalf. This is where Tax and the Rich Boys fit in, not a direct personal danger, but a ticking time bomb that can go off.
Finally, we get to the whoever’s left in the ship… and there’s only Blip & Layla herself left. Blip’s an AI Pet, while Layla’s lost any power she once had that isn’t physical appearance or shouting at people.
I dunno, Blip has a documented love of explosions. We can’t allow his tiny stature to throw off our assumptions on how dangerous he could be.
Does he have access to, or the capability to create, explosives? No? Then he’s at Layla’s level of danger.
