page 1229 – Did You Really Think It Would Be That Easy?
Well, of COURSE. Even I’m not usually lazy enough to wrap up a plot threat almost entirely off-screen. More importantly, though, DANG IT! I’m still not out of drawing these outfits quite yet! I’m really getting tired of Hiro’s tracksuit thing, those elbow/knee pads are way more time consuming than you might think.
So, once AGAIN, I totally went and posted a holiday page over the weekend without any sort of warning during the previous update that there would be anything else going up in the following week. So Happy Late Father’s Day to everybody who didn’t randomly drop by the site on Sunday! As for THIS coming week, there’s no holidays I know of, but I DO have a convention over the weekend, meaning I need to scramble to wrap up the last of the Conventional Wisdom comics from the LAST con before then, and hopefully also get some headway on page 1230 ahead of time. With all of that on my plate, I most likely won’t have a new Voting Incentive on Thursday, unless I make some AMAZING progress on Monday. Sorry about that. The good news is, Conventional Wisdom will be getting less and less busy as the Summer drags on, so hopefully I’ll FINALLY be able to get caught back up on other stuff that needs doing around here soon.
Edit: Just to clear up any ambiguity that my choice of words earlier may have left, there DEFINITELY is not any new Voting Incentive up this week. However, I am already working on page 1230 at this very moment, so the convention stuff this weekend shouldn’t affect that going up on schedule.
Looks like Avi needs another zap from Tabitha’s gizmo already.
He needs many MANY things
The number one thing being direct and casual love and attention from his immediate family members.
THIS
“What are you talking about?? We are constantly giving these kids casual love and attention – we are spending ginormous amounts of MONEY on them every day! How else would one show one’s children casual love and attention?! Ugh. Poor people are weird!”
–All 4 of These Kids Parents
They missed the most important word in my statement: “DIRECT”. Throwing money at them without interaction is the reason the kids are acting out so badly.
Oh…”direct”..we see, so you’re saying we should transfer the money “directly” to their accounts, rather than spending it on them…hmmm, that might work…we suppose we could try that!
–4kids Parents
At very least you should DIRECTLY hand them the money, or DIRECTLY go with them to the store/webpage to DIRECTLY buy items alongside them… ONCE A WEEK AT BARE MINIMUM.
