Anyway, time for another confession: this is one of those pages was was originally supposed to happen a LOT later, but then I realized the boys hadn’t said much of anything for a while and suddenly this conversation got bumped way the heck ahead. Even after all this time, I’m still not used to writing in once-page-a-week increments. Man, I’ve REALLY gotta get the rest of the website stuff finished so I can get back to two pages a week. And to think I used to complain about the plot moving too slowly BEFORE…
And who knows? That other website stuff just MIGHT take some unexpected leaps forward over the next few weeks. In case you missed me saying it elsewhere, now that the most recent TWC Voting Incentive series AND the latest Patreon MadLib series are both wrapped up, I’m putting both on hold for the month of November so I can get more work done on this December’s flood of Christmas content. I’m committed to putting out twenty-five pages of content, and I’ve currently finished three of them. There’s some work left to do. But at the same time, not to give anything away, but this year’s Christmas content will be a bit out of the ordinary (though not ENTIRELY unprecedented) which makes the workflow a bit hard to predict. If I find myself actually ahead of schedule at any point, you can expect some excited news about a sudden load of pages added to the Incentive & Patreon Gallery. But even if I don’t rest assured that both Voting Incentives AND new Patreon comics will start back up in December, if only to give ya’ll a break for the holiday stuff.
Hoo boy, it’s been a LONG time! Definitely didn’t just binge read the entirety of Far Out There from start to present because the last time I was up-to-date was before SmackJeeves… happened. On the one hand, I feel bad for falling behind for like, two years, but on the other, it’s not like I missed much, due to how much of that time was migration. (I don’t know if I ever commented while the comic was still on SmackJeeves, but if I did it was probably as Hexagonaldonut.)
Definitely missed this comic; both in visual style and in writing. Glad to be back, though!
