(Historical Notes: Another good example of how The Boys managed to debut with their personalities pretty much immediately established.  It’d take a couple of years to become the innocent dummy we see here.  Also, dig Past Me cheating a bit and reusing the art from page 981 in Avi’s headshot.  Speaking of whom, I can’t find the comment where this happened, but I think it was around this point that somebody only JUST realized that Avi was also a boy.  I keep wanting to have a moment where somebody makes the same mistake in-comic, and Avi’s all “Don’t worry, my dazzling beauty confuses a lot of people,” but the opportunity just never presented itself before the hiatus.)
