*insert joke about the shambling, grotesque monster that is commercialized, mass-marketed holidays HERE*

Anyway, MORE PROOF THAT FAR OUT THERE ISN’T DEAD! I’ve technically done as many pages this week as I did before the hiatus started! (…if you don’t count Voting Incentives) Anyway, everyone have a happy Buying Discount Valentine-themed Candy Day tomorrow! I’m gonna get me some of those Little Debbie cakes!

(Historical Notes: This wasn’t the first page I did on the new computer, but I remember it feeling like the first one I’d really done differently than I would have on the old set up.  Just in case Past Me doesn’t mention this anywhere else here, one of the OTHER things that changed with the dawn of 2020 was me switching over to a new computer, and having to get used to Clip Studio instead of Manga Studio.  It’s another one of those things that couldn’t have come at a better time, even if it totally didn’t feel like it at the time.  The new computer and the new art programs are both obvious steps up from what I HAD been using, but you know how it is.  Even if the new thing is better, the amount of time it takes to get used to it can be worse than just sticking with the old gear, which would have been the case if I were still cranking out page after page after page every week.  But along comes the hiatus to give me time to actually LEARN this new stuff.)
