Far Out There

(Historical Notes: Well, this is annoying.  There’s no Wayback Machine capture of this page, but I thought I had this really clever idea to go check the social media pages and copy the commentary from there.  Problem is, the bit about Halloween being almost over isn’t just a bit.  I really didn’t get this page finished and online until fairly late that evening.  In the confusion, I just didn’t bother re-posting this on most of the social media outlets, and the ones I DID just seemed to get a generic “Happy Halloween” message instead of a copy/paste of the text from SmackJeeves.  DRAT.  Well, since I can’t pass the buck to Past Me, I’ll recap the costumes myself… which I was really hoping I could avoid because of how complicated the “deciding between multiple options” gag makes things.

and Layla is Revy from Black Lagoon… which I’m pretty sure makes the first time two characters have picked the same costume in a Halloween comic, since Stilez already did that.  Then again, maybe Layla’s letting her borrow some clothes again?)
