So, I wrestled with the question of whether or not I should use up a whole update on a page like this, especially after all the Christmas stuff. Would it be better to do a normal page and put the holiday page on New Year’s EVE? Well, probably, but doing it this way means I’ve already got a page written for Friday, and that’s one less thing to do before setting out to MAGFest on Thursday. That settled that!

Speaking of lots to do, I’m honestly not sure if there’ll be a Voting Incentive ready when you read this. I HOPE I’ll have finished it before going to work for the night, in which case it’ll be up when this update goes live… but it’s just as likely that I won’t manage to finish it until sometime around dawn. Just check, and if there’s not already a new page, check again in a few hours.

Oh, and Happy New Year again!

(Historical Notes: This is another page were I did a ton of little updates that I specifically hope nobody will actually notice.  Layla’s pose is still a little… off, exacerbated by the fact that I still didn’t have a handle on how to draw that baggy shirt yet, but I think I managed to make it a LITTLE more natural.  Or course, Layla’s penchant for staying away at all hours would take on much sadder connotations way down the line.  Remember back when we thought stuff like this was just a silly little gag?  Oh a lighter note, it’s actually been a long time since I actually made a point of staying up on New Years like this.  I still remember being a kid and staying up unfathomable hours to watch as much of the Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi as I could.  Heck, the one year we were at my grandparents’ on New Years was a huge, massive deal because I could watch Toonami’s whole DragonBall Z marathon.  We didn’t have Cartoon Network at out house, so I normally only got to catch a few random episodes of DBZ while visiting other people.  For the longest time, the Garlic Jr. Saga was the only full arc of the show I’d ever seen… which I’m sure makes a lot of DBZ fans cry a little inside.)
