Hey look everybody! Bridget and Alphonse have their own Christmas story! A holiday classic for the whole family!

…or maybe not.

So, I’m sure you’re noticing that this page looks a little… different than usual. Yeah, I decided to try something different with these: skipping the whole inking step and just coloring my pencil art. To be honest, my primary reason for this was just to get everything done faster, but I do think it serves an artistic purpose as well. I’d like to think that this makes the whole thing look a little more like the kind of cheep children’s storybook I remember from back in the day.

…plus, I’ve never really considered myself to be much of an inker to begin with, so part of me prefers to just put out the pencil versions as is.

(Historical Notes: Ah yes, the Far Out Christmas Story.  This was a bit of a tradition for a few years before I switched over to doing a single, month-long series.  This is probably there the original seed for that Far Out There Christmas Carol I keep saying I want to do came from.  Of course, this is also the origin of a lot of weeeeeeird details regarding the Caligari’s home, which we’ll get into later…)
