Far Out There

So, on the one hand, I REALLY like how this drawing turned out. All the girls look great in their choir getup (though why they STILL can’t find something that fits Avatar is beyond me) and the background, which I kind of improvised at the last minute, turned out GREAT. On the other hand, it didn’t hit me that I’d forgotten to put a speech bubble into the thing until AFTER I’d whipped up a background that left no room for one. Thus, the text kind of clashes with the stained glass. Well, the text’s not really that important to getting this page, so I’m letting it slide this time.

Anyway, if you missed the VERY LATE update on Monday, let me remind you that this is the FORTH new page to go up since the site unfroze. If the last page you remember was the one of Skye and the giant lava lamp, there’s a lot between that and this you haven’t seen yet.

Speaking of Skye, I do believe this is the first time we’ve ever seen her without that hat. You’d be surprised how disorienting it was to draw that. Just… unnatural.
