An Avatar Christmas – page 1
The only think more confounding than asking why I’m only NOW doing a whole set of Christmas comics about everybody’s favorite Far Out There character is realizing that it’s been two whole years since the Nitpicker party series. It seriously feels like I only did those a few months ago. I barely even remember doing last year’s Christmas present series. Time is indeed a cruel mistress.
But yeah! The only reason Avatar was only in the last page of the 2020 comics was because I’d gotten so caught up in the fun of introducing all those new characters that I just straight up forgot that she hadn’t appeared yet. Imagine that, me losing track of how long it’d been since we last saw a character! In Far Out There! Totally unheard of! Anyway, Avatar’s gonna be in every single one of these pages, all twenty-five of them. That ought to be enough to balance a few things out, right?
And as if that wasn’t enough, a new set of Christmas Patreon blogs starts today! Yeah, a whole series, and I’m setting them to be freely available to the general public! No charge whatsoever! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
It’s a Christmas Miracle!
Also, does this one also technically count as a CW crossover as well, since that guy who looks suspiciously like Ichabod is in it?
Technically, but nobody really even cares about that guy
Yay Avatar!
…Is she going to hate this? I feel like at least one horrible thing is going to happen to her.
Let’s hope the “Christmas” thing offsets that, but I still remember that time Alphonse and Bridget nearly died or something in a Christmas story.
Don’t worry, there may be some annoyance afoot, but nobody’s gonna get eaten by a giant mutant Santa this year.
suspiciously specific word choice there
What? It’s just a normal, ordinary thing that occasionally happens to people. Nothing unusual here.

still leaves interpretation to be eaten by other giant mutants, or non giant mutant Santa’s, or really just to many linguistic openings to be eaten which is now my real concern
Getting eaten by a giant mutant Santa is the sort of thing that’s always a valid concern in the Far Out There universe at SOME point, it’s just a question of when.
