Far Out There

I’ve been asked a number of times if Ichabod is supposed to be me. My answer is always that we look a lot like each other, but our personalities are polar opposites. That’s not true at all in regards to this page, though. I ALWAYS stretch myself beyond my means and get way too into buying Christmas presents. I’ve yet to carry a pile of boxes as big as I am, though. Ichabod must be part ant to pull off that feat of strength.

(Historical Note: I’ve gotten better about reining myself on over-buying presents, though I guess I’ve compensated for it by doing more and more Christmas comics every year.  In fact, I even started drawing little coloring books for my sister’s kids every year, ON TOP OF all the other stuff I’m already doing.  Stuff like this is why I’m constantly teetering on the edge of burnout)
