Far Out There

Dawwwwww!!! …I’m not sure what Trigger’s got under that shady-looking wrapping, but I’m sure it’s the thought that counts.

I’m afraid I’m not the least bit happy about what the bunker looks like here. The background details look NOTHING like the original version, though I guess we can just say that Trigger redecorated a few times while he was down there. Still, I must have colored that background a dozen times, and I still don’t think it turned out right. Oh well, that’s why I usually work in black and white, I guess.

But lest you think I’m TOTALLY incapable of saying nice things about my work, I am amazed at how friggin’ ADORABLE Tiny trigger and Lil’ Layla turned out! We have GOT to flash back to this time period more often.

(Historical Note: The question of what sort of gift Trigger could have eventually DID get answered in a Voting Incentive series.  Hopefully I’ll remember to come back and include a link here when I finally get far enough into reposing the original comics to start working on the Incentives too)
